​I took on my first role in recruitment at a business based in Warwick where I had my first taste for recruitment specialising in the retail and automotive sector. During this time, I took part in Assessment centres meeting candidates on a daily basis. This made me realise that I definitely wanted to stay in recruitment.

I realised that I enjoyed recruitment and having progressed as far as I could within my role, I began to seek a new company that would further my development.

Jenrick was clearly a company committed to training, was keen to develop its staff and had an excellent reputation within the industry. It sounded like a really interesting company and appeared to be just the type of environment I was looking for.

I’ve joined Jenrick as a Delivery Consultant, which is the perfect starting place to enable me to gain much more experience and knowledge about recruitment and engineering as a whole in both an engineering and Food and Drink sector.

I was promoted to a delivery Team Leader in October 2022 leading and mentoring. Since January 2024 I have become a consultant working with clients in all Engineering sectors.

Outside of work, I play volleyball for a local club called Rugby Phoenix, part of a West Midlands league and last season we won the West Midlands trophy. I often play two games a week in addition to training once a week, so it definitely keeps me fit! I also enjoy going to our local gym and participate in HIIT exercise classes.
