Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £50,900
Location: Hitchin
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Double Days (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience from a manufacturing environment? I am recruiting for a leading food manufacturing company based in Hitchin, looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum productivity
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across the production line
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure machinery is operating to its optimal standards
• Opportunities to get involved with project work to make line improvements and making the site run more efficiently

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally from a manufacturing background or fast-paced environment
• Apprentice trained or equivalent to Level 3
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
