Shifts: Monday - Thursday: 22:00 - 06:00 | Friday: 17:00 - 22:00
Training: First 6 weeks on days (08:00 - 16:00)
Are you an experienced and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a dynamic role with a leading packaging company? We are offering a competitive salary of £51,500 for a skilled engineer to join our team. If you have a strong electrical background, excellent fault-finding skills, and knowledge of PLCs, we want you to hit the ground running in our maintenance team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operation and maximum uptime of production machinery and equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs, addressing any faults quickly and efficiently.
- Work proactively to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Support the production team with technical expertise to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and PLCs to resolve faults and prevent downtime.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong electrical knowledge with a particular focus on fault-finding.
- In-depth understanding of PLCs and control systems.
- Experience in a maintenance engineering role within a fast-paced environment (preferably in packaging).
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Shifts and Training:
- Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00, and Friday, 17:00 - 22:00.
- First 6 weeks will be spent training on day shifts (08:00 - 16:00) to familiarize yourself with our systems and operations.
